Simple MAC Tips to Speed Up Your Day



Use the spotlight feature to find you stuff

Use spotlight to help you find files, apps and documents in OS X Yosemite.
click on the the magnifying glass icon in the menu bar or press Command-Space 




Ctrl+Alt+Del 
If you're used to this function on Windows to end a program or see what's running then you'll need to hold down the Cmd + Option keys and press Esc. This will allow you to end a program similar to the Windows function


Sign a Doc 
Electronically sign a PDF using Preview.
If you have to return a document that you've received via email you’ll know the problems of having to add your signature.
Open Preview, Click on the toolbox icon and then the signature. Job done!





Take a Screenshot

When you need to take a snap of just part of the screen. The simple way is to just press  Cmd + Shift + 4.
Drag the box to the area you want to grab and the image section will be saved to desktop.






Use Windows on Your MAC

Yes it's possible to use Windows on your MAc and very simple to do.
Boot Camp in the Applications folder will allow you to partition your disk and then you can install Windows on a separate part of the disk and on startup  hold down the Option key and you wil be able choose between Windows or MAC operation systems.
